Nights

The most wonderful time of the year; short days, long nights, and lots of lights. Truthfully, perhaps all throughout the year there are many lights to illuminate the streets, but to me it always seemed that the holidays held a little more magic in the lights. There are, after all, more decorations everywhere. Nevertheless, 'tis in this jolly season that we stay up later, despite the cold nights, and appreciate the company, glanced up at the stars, and looked out the window, to just blink extra long and take it all in.
